Create your own Picasa Web Albums

At the July meeting, Brett Davis did a presentation on Picasa and Picasa Web Albums, and requested that all club members create their own web Google account, download and install Picasa, and create their own web albums. Once it is set up, it is actually quicker to upload and maintain your own web albums than it is to send Brett your images and descriptions via email so he can do it for you, and you have total control over all of your own photos.

Brett also suggested that all club members should use the "Comments" facility incorporated into Picasa Web Albums to provide feedback to fellow club members about their photographs. The more feedback we get, the more we learn and the better photographers we become.

Detailed instructions on how to get a Google Account, download Picasa and create your own albums can be found by clicking on the following link - how to create Picasa Web Albums.
